Personality
Euthanasia's personality broken down into categories:
Greatest Flaw: Euthanasia was alone for so very long, she always feels like she has to be attached to somebody. She doesn't mind spending time alone, for she does it quite often and enjoys her solitude, but emotionally and relationship-wise, it bothers her if she isn't connected to someone.
Best Quality: Loyalty. Euthanasia is very loyal to those close to her. Once she's your friend, she's your friend for life, unless you really hurt her. One can depend on her to always keep her word and always be there when she's needed. She makes an excellent ally and tends to sometimes be a nasty enemy. Desires: Euthanasia desires not much more than to love and be loved in return. She just wants to live the rest of her life happy with someone she cares about. Love means a lot to her, and she vows to find and keep it one day. Fears: Euthanasia fears that she will spend the rest of her days alone. Loneliness is not a welcomed feeling to her and she dreads it greatly. Euthanasia also fears failure in defending those around her and her friends when they need it. Likes: Euthanasia likes true-traditions. The true qualities possessed by others. Honesty, responsibility, respect, open-mindedness, and those who are just themselves at all times. She is also a very big fan of the night. Playing into the hopeless romantic within her, she loves to just sit and listen to the night and its many different sounds. She loves to just sit and stare at the moon and the stars, though the stars are her absolute favorite. There is something about them that calms Euthanasia. They make all her troubles go away. She is at peace when she stares at, and loses herself in, the stars.
Dislikes: Euthanasia has a strong dislike for fake people. People who conform to the standards of others. Not nearly as much, but she also dislikes tradition and traditional people. She strongly believes in originality. She absolutely hates liars and if you lie to her, she's your enemy for life. There are very few exceptions to this ruling. Strengths: Honesty is a seeming strength for Euthanasia. She is always honest, usually bluntly so, and isn't afraid to tell it like it is. She's also very open about everything. Herself, her life, you name it, she'll be happy to tell you all about it. She also has an automatic instinct to protect those around her, mainly her friends. If something is threatening them, she is quick to go into defense mode and dispose of the threat by any means possible. She doesn't exactly marvel in it, but neither does she dread the battle aspects of it. Sometimes a good fight can do one some good.
Weaknesses: Euthanasia has a few flaws, but probably her biggest is trust and children. She trusts those around her very easily and so she is easy to manipulate and her trust usually becomes a tool for others to use to their advantage and against her. Euthanasia is also very fond of children. She wouldn't mind having one of her own, though she'd be just fine if she didn't, but either way she has a soft spot for them.

Useful Facts To Know About Her
Mood You'll Usually Find Her In: Thoughtful/Deep. Whether she's pondering the workings of her life, mulling over recent events, observing Nature, studying the people around her, or anything else really, her thoughts and emotions are deep within her. While the road to her heart isn't that extravagantly lengthy, the road to her soul seems to never end, and her soul is where her thoughts and feelings come from.
Her Favorite Color: Euthanasia has a few favorite colors, all for different reasons. While she loves the darkness, and it's lack of vibrancy, there are some colors that always catch her eye.
1) Black. While black is not technically a color, and it's a shade, Euthanasia finds elegance, poise, mystery, and a sense of royalty in the color black.
2) Red. Euthanasia has always liked red. Black and red have been her two favorite colors ever since she was young. She finds warmth, comfort, and even a sense of danger in the color red.
3) Green. Euthanasia was always more attached to Nature than she was the rest of the world and humanity, but this attachment grew deeper as she grew older. She appreciates and respects Nature and its natural way of life. She finds peace, sophistication, authenticism, and honesty in the color green.
4) White. Lastly, Euthanasia loves the color white. While it too is a shade and not a color, this doesn't matter to her. White is a recent addition to her favorite colors list, and it was put there for her love of the moon, the stars, and white outfits. The moon and the stars, particularly the stars, deeply soothe Euthanasia and reach her in the darkest places of her being. White outfits also appear to her, for they seem to give the wearer a natural "glow" and white accents other colors; supports them. She discovers happiness, purity, and a Goddess-like uplifting in the color white.
Her Favorite Form of Entertainment
Music, poetry, and plays.
1) Music. Euthanasia is addicted to it. All kinds suit her, whether it's rhythmic and fast paced, or slower and more tuned to the soul, or anything in between. Music reaches into Euthanasia and warms her heart.
2) Poetry. Poetry is the sure-fire way into Euthanasia's heart and soul. Poetry will win her over in almost every circumstance, and when Euthanasia hears poetry she becomes very emotional and feels as though the words, in some way or another, were read right off the pages of her heart. She finds some way to relate to every poem she's ever heard, and poems speaking of heartache reach deeper inside her than anything, or anyone, else has ever been able to before.
3) Plays. Plays aren't exactly a favorite form of entertainment for Euthanasia, but she enjoys them nonetheless. She is sometimes more fascinated by the structure a performed play is built on, rather than by the play's content itself. Something just twinges Euthanasia's mind while watching actors/actresses perform.

History
Euthanasia and her parents lived simple happy lives. Her father worked morning to evening running his own business and her mother was a stay at home mom who spent her days taking care of Euthanasia, cooking, and cleaning. The family's days were very basic and routine, and more often than not, Euthanasia entertained herself. When Euthanasia was one, her parents divorced and her mother remarried. A year later, when Euthanasia was two, her mother gave birth to Dru, Euthanasia's half-sister. The girl's ages are two years apart and they grew up best friends.
Two Years Ago
The apocalypse arrived when Euthanasia was twenty years old. The government's broadcasts and warnings were everywhere and the country panicked. Both Euthanasia and Dru were away from their parents at college (separate ones) and their home city was one of the first ones attacked. Because of this, it was sealed off and Euthanasia wasn't allowed to return there. She was told to move on and consider her family dead. She was devastated, for her sister was her best friend and she was close with both parents as well, but she knew she had to push forward and survive, for them. And so she did. She hid with her classmates in the deepest part of the basement underneath her college. For extra safety reasons, her school had built a basement for their basement. They called it the dugout and it was sealed off very far underground.
She hid there with her friends and teachers, all doing their best to only eat the stocked up food supply when absolutely necessary, seeing as how no one knew how long they would be there. There was no cell phone service and no contact whatsoever to the outside world. Euthanasia and her group hid in the dugout for a month. During that time, they had lost a good number of people. Most went insane with the suspense of what was happening in the world and ran out to check. They never came back. When the month was over, Euthanasia and seven others remained in the dugout. She volunteered to creep out and check to see if the catastrophe was over. Her boyfriend went with her and together they slowly made their way to the basement, and when that was clear, up into the school itself.
The sights they beheld were sickening. Dust, dirt, and blood were everywhere. Evidence of some people trying to fight off the invasion was apparent. Outside, the world was barren and silent. Together, Alexander and Euthanasia retrieved the others from the dugout and they all ventured out into the world.
Present Day
The group had split up after coming out of hiding, and only Alexander and Euthanasia had stayed together. Neither of them have seen anyone from the dugout since that day two years ago. Euthanasia had ventured back to her home city and was devastated once more to find her family had vanished. There were no traces of her parents or Dru, and Euthanasia feared they all really were dead. She did vow though that she would search for them. Something in her gut told her that Dru wasn't dead.
Pushing forward, she and Alexander set off on a journey of their own. Alexander was a bit of a wilderness-survival geek and that coupled with Euthanasia's weapon training and leadership skills, the courses she took in college, made the pair perfect for salvaging what was left of a building and setting up one of the first safe-houses. They run it together and teach their knowledge to those they house there.
